Gerry Wagman, owner of Verona Camera.

Mr. Gerald Wagman of Livingston, N.J., died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at home.

The funeral service is Sunday, March 20, at noon at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, with interment in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

Born in Newark, N.J., Mr. Wagman lived in West Orange, N.J., before moving to Livingston 35 years ago. For the past eight years, he was the owner/operator of Verona Camera, which was honored as “Best Small Business in Verona” in 2008. Prior to that, Mr. Wagman was a photographer for 37 years at the Eric Wagman Studio in South Orange, N.J., which was founded by his late father.

Mr. Wagman was a member of the Photographers Association of New Jersey, the Wedding Photographers Association, the Ford Model A Club of New Jersey, and the Motor Club of America.

Gerald was the beloved husband of Debbi (nee Bloom); the devoted father of Brett Rachlin and her husband, Sean, and Evan Wagman; the loving son of Phyllis (nee Jacobson) and the late Eric Wagman; the dear brother of Tina Bobker, and Robert Wagman, and the cherished son-in-law of the late Abe Bloom.
