If you’re a fan of Jay Mohr you might want to clear your calendar for the night of Saturday, April 9. The Verona-born comedian will once again be performing at an event in Flemington to benefit a halfway house for women. The event is called “Laugh Out Loud” and proceeds will go to Anderson House, which is located in Whitehouse Station and serves women from all over New Jersey. Mohr’s mother, Jean Mohr, is the president of the Anderson House board of trustees.
Laugh Out Loud will be held at Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, starting at 7 p.m. Mohr is the headliner, but the event will also include “surprise guests”, the organizers say; Joe Piscopo turned up at last year’s benefit. General admission tickets are $65 per person; VIP tickets are $125 apiece and include a backstage meet and greet with Mohr. You can buy tickets online, or order them by phone from Anderson House at 908-534-5818.
