The Federal Aviation Administration is reporting that a small plane piloted by Les Gwyn-Williams crashed near Lincoln Park Airport today. Gwyn-Williams, who is the owner of Terry’s Drugs in Verona, was conscious when emergency crews got him out of the plane. He was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital with leg and head injuries that were reportedly serious. We’ll let you know as soon as we know more.
UPDATE: A spokesman for the hospital said that Les is in critical condition, but declined to comment on specific injuries. And this video appeared on NJ.com.
Please keep Les in your prayers he will have surgery tomorrow. Thank God he is alive.
Our thoughts are with Les and look forward to seeing his smiling face in Terry’s very soon!
Les and I haven’t always been on the same page or even seen eye-to-eye. But, I was very shocked and saddened when my daughter called me and told me that Les’ plane had crashed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Les, and with Morgan & Colby, too. Take care.

We hope Les will recover soon: we are praying for him.
