Art created by 17 Verona High School students will be on display at Caldwell College’s Visceglia Art Gallery starting this Thursday, February 10.

Tom Smith and Ryan Denora (l-r) recently helped VHS art teacher Terry Sherman install the works. The show is called the Teen Arts Jam Exhibition, and Verona High School, through the VHS Chapter of the National Art Honor Society, is participating in it with 22 area high schools.

In addition to art by Smith and Denora, the following art students have work in the show: Claudia Rollo, Aria Straus, Kay Stryker, Emily Gagliostro, Rory Duarte, Amelia Weiss, Sydney White, Julia Frazee, Krystina DeGennaro, Masha Guzner, Juliet Carvajal, Olivia Marino, Kate Percevault, Vivian Richardson, and Carly Maestas. The work includes tempera landscape paintings, self portraits, and still lifes.

The show is open to the public from February 10 to March 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. There will be reception on Wednesday, March 2 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 6 p.m. The Visceglia Gallery is located in Caldwell College’s Student Center Building, which is accessible from both Ryerson Avenue and the main entrance on College Drive.
