This Saturday, February 5, the Montclair synagogue Bnai Keshet will be holding an evening of Ladino songs and stories with Flory Jagoda, a guitarist and composer who is known for her efforts to preserve the music of the Sephardic Jews of Bosnia.
Folksinger Susan Gaeta and folk dancer Jim Gold will also perform and there will be food in the form of vegetarian tapas, prepared by Gonzalo Fernandez and Patricia Pedraza, formerly of Xunta, a New York City tapas bar.
The evening begins at 8 p.m. and Bnai Keshet would like you to make a reservation if you’d like to attend by calling 973-746-4889 or sending an e-mail [email protected]. There is no charge for members, but tickets for non-members are $36. Bnai Keshet is located at 99 So. Fullerton Ave. in Montclair.
