Open Houses For January 30

There are seven open houses in Verona this Sunday, both condominiums  and houses.

Condos first: At 18 Green Acres Drive, unit #61 is listed at $159,000. It’s a one-bed, one-bath apartment and it is open today from 1 to 3 p.m. There is also a new listing for a one-bed, one-bath unit at 12 Wedgewood Drive. This is a second-floor unit with a garage. The asking price is $167,500 and you can see it from 1 to 3 p.m. as well. Same complex, different building, there’s a one-bed, one-bath apartment  37 Wedgewood Drive.  It, too, includes a garage. The price is $176,500 and it will be open for viewing from noon to 4 p.m.

The rest are single-family homes that all have three beds and and at least two baths. 85 Franklin is a bungalow on a small lot steps from F.N. Brown elementary school. The asking price is $350,000 and it is open from noon to 2 p.m. 15 Franklin is on the eastern side of the Peckman and it is on a slightly larger lot. The kitchen is newly remodeled, as is one of the bathrooms. It is open from 2 to 4 p.m. and the price was dropped by $10,000 to $408,000 this past week.

The house featured in this week’s House Snooping column, 53 Linden Avenue, is having a second open house today, from 1 to 4 p.m. And finally, there’s a new listing at 78 Fairway, which has two and a half baths and a ground-level family room that opens to a patio. You can see it from 2 to 4 p.m. and the asking price is $444,900.
