On Tuesday, MyVeronaNJ.com became more than just your favorite news and information site. We became a site with more than half a million pageviews: 501,492 pageviews to be exact since we turned on the tracking software at the end of December 2009. Those pages have been read by more than 61,616 absolute unique viewers in every town in New Jersey, every state in the U.S. and 122 foreign countries.

How did we do it? By bringing Veronans–in town and out of town, past, present and future–the widest range of stories about Verona. Stories about Verona schools, sports and government, but also stories about the food Verona wants to eat and activities for Verona’s kids. Stories about the state of Verona real estate and about music and movies. Stories about health and travel.

Since it looks as if the snow may keep us from traveling more than a few feet today, we urge you to take some time to read widely around the site. Tell us what stories you like, and what stories you want to read–and watch–in the future. Because in naming this site MyVeronaNJ.com, we wanted it to reflect your life in Verona. Tell us, and then hang on for the ride. We’re going for a million pageviews now.
