There’s a new date for the 8th Grade Parent Orientation at Verona High School that had to be cancelled when the water main broke on Fairview earlier this month. The orientation, which is for parents only, will now be held on Monday, January 31 at 7 p.m.
At the orientation, parents will get a tour of VHS and learn about graduation requirements, discipline, policies, curriculum, technology, guidance procedures, extracurricular activities and athletics, and other issues. Parents will get a copy of VHS’ Curriculum Bulletin, which lists all the courses offered and get information about how those courses can be scheduled. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of VHS administrators, curriculum supervisors, counselors and coaches.
