Basketball Tops Glen Ridge

Verona put a strong first quarter on the board yesterday afternoon, and never looked back. The boys basketball team beat Glen Ridge 47 to 42, raising Verona’s record to 8-3-0.

Brian Farrell was the high scorer for the Hillbillies with 18 points, followed by Bobby Kaslander with 15.  Farrell has put up 159 points for Verona so far this season. Verona faces Arts High School in Newark at 4 p.m. today.
