Across Verona tomorrow evening, the church bells will ring for Christmas Eve services. We’ve written separate posts on the schedule at each of Verona’s churches, but we thought it might be helpful for you to have all the information in one place as well.
Calvary Lutheran has two Christmas Eve masses: a Contemporary service at 5 p.m. and a Traditional Candlelight service at 7:30 p.m. On Christmas morning, there is one mass at 10:30 a.m.
The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit will Christmas Eve services, the traditional focus of its Christmas worship, at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. The 4 p.m. mass is a special family service.
The First Congregational Church of Verona will have its Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m.
At Christmas Eve services at First Presbyterian Church begin with the Family Service at 4 p.m. and the traditional Service of Lessons and Carols is at 9 p.m. There is no Christmas Day service, but a Christmas Healing service will be part of worship at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, December 26.
Our Lady of the Lake, Verona’s Catholic church, has Christmas Eve masses at 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 10 p.m. and 12 midnight. Christmas Day masses are at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 noon. There is no 5:30 p.m. Saturday mass.
The Verona United Methodist Church has its Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m.
