The annual talent show put on by the Spotlight Players Parents Association is coming up fast and if you want to be on stage, you’ve got to sign up now.
The 9th SPPA Talent Night will be held in the VHS auditorium on Saturday, January 8, at 7 p.m. or, if Verona is snowed in that evening, the following Saturday. To participate, you’ve got to be a family-friendly act. The SPPA says singers, dancers, musicians, comics, and actors with funny skits, serious monologues, or even an animal acts are welcome. Your act must be no more than 4 minutes long. You don’t need to audition, but only the first 30 acts that apply will be accepted. The application deadline is January 3, 2011 and you can download the application form here.
If you want to attend, the cost is $5 for students, $10 adults and $30 per family.
