There’s going to be even more retro fun than usual for sale at Vintage Alley tomorrow. Owner Colleen Connell is hosting the vendors who belong to Etsy‘s Montclair Street Team, which includes Verona resident Jackie Yarmo. The items will include handmade work from local artists and artisans. There will be jewelry, photography, original artwork, graphic tees, holiday gift items, unique vintage and more. Jackie says she has “made a ton” of paperwhite gardens to sell at the event by putting the bulbs in vintage containers.
Etsy, if you haven’t yet experienced it, is sort of like eBay and Facebook all rolled into one. The Montclair Team, which includes sellers from all over Essex County, is headed by Claire Baker, who used to own Copabanana’s.
Vintage Alley is located at 730 Bloomfield Ave. in Verona, which is the corner of Bloomfield and Fairview avenues. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there will be refreshments all day.
