Marion (Plavier) Papera, 92, of Cedar Grove passed away on November 24, 2010.
Funeral services are on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Shook’s Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave. (Rt. 23), Cedar Grove, N.J. Interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Upper Montclair. Mrs. Papera was born in Paterson, N.J., and had been a resident of Cedar Grove since 1952. She worked as a registered nurse prior to her marriage to Joseph. Mrs. Papera was the beloved wife of 71 years to Joseph F. Papera; devoted mother to Ron Papera of Verona and his wife, Kathy; Richard Papera of Verona and his wife, Patricia, and the late Joseph Papera and his surviving wife, Joyce Papera; cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren, and special great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren.
