The wreath lights have gone up along Bloomfield Avenue and we’re beginning to see twinkles on Verona houses, too. This weekend, after the turkey is history and Black Friday is blitzed, the decorating will begin in earnest.  And so will MyVeronaNJ’s Holiday Lights contest.

As we did with our Halloween House contest, we’re going to ask you to enter by sending us an e-mail to let us know where your house is. We’ll send Fred Goode out to photograph it and then put all the photos up for a vote. The winner will get serious bragging rights and a special Verona treat. Remember, this is a contest for outside light displays.

We need all the nominations by December 4. If your decorating isn’t finished by then, let us know, but we have to take all photos by December 15. Voting will begin on December 20  and the winning photo will grace our home page on Christmas Eve. Send your e-mail now!
