I love Thanksgiving dinner. Between the skin of the turkey, the stuffing and the gravy, and then apple pie I’m a happy woman.  Even those of us who have been cooking Thanksgiving turkeys for several years can use a few helpful hints on demystifying the bird.

Verona’s Cardie Mortimer, of Chef’s Lab in Montclair,  is offering some cooking workshops to help you create the perfect Thanksgiving meal. This particular class will be taught by chef  Scott Savokinas and participants will have hands-on training reviewing how to choose the best bird for your meal as well as how to prepare the turkey using different flavoring methods.

The class will be held on Sunday, November 14 from noon to 5 p.m. and costs $100 per person. Click here to sign up or call 973-746-1260.
