If you are planning to be around for the long weekend while the kids are off from school, here is a great opportunity for a night out. On the first Saturday of each month, the Geyer Family Center YMCA in Montclair hosts a parents night out. You can drop your kids (ages 6 months-kindergarten) off at the Family Center Y at 6 p.m. and pick them up at 10 p.m. For toddlers nursery care is available while older children enjoy gym activities, arts, swim, and story time. Your child should bring a peanut-free snack and a drink with them while attending. The cost for members is $30 per child and $15 per additional sibling and for non-members $40 per child and $15 per additional sibling. Space is limited so advance registration is requested.
