We never expected the competition for the right to be the MyVeronaNJ Halloween House 2010 to be as intense as it was. But with 2,215 votes entered, the winner of this year’s contest is … the Nguyen family at 35 Woodland Avenue with 1,094 votes, or 49.39% of the total. The Elliott family of 35 Brentwood Drive was the runner up with 971 votes, or 43.84%.

We’ll be delivering a dozen Halloween cupcakes, courtesy of Mardi Gras Fine Foods, to Nguyen’s door later this afternoon. Our congratulations to the winners and thanks to everyone who participated.

  1. Can’t wait to see what you come up with at Christmas. Can we nominate other people’s houses? (Cause ours won’t be that great, but I know some that will be!)
