Michael and Kathy Stanisci with their children Kate, Michael, Ryan and Helen enjoyed Family Night at Frank Anthony's.

Last week, the Verona Municipal Alliance Committee sponsored its eighth annual fall Family Night. Verona families, who love to eat out under any circumstance, get an extra incentive to dine together thanks to the discounts that VMAC obtains from Verona restaurants. There will be another homework-free evening to dine out in the spring.

VMAC runs many different programs throughout the year for children, parents and senior citizens on topics ranging from Internet safety to drug and alcohol prevention. On November 16, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., it will hold a program on drug and alcohol addiction for older adults. The event will take place in the Fireman’s room on the second floor of the Verona Community Center.
