Calvary Lutheran Church will hold the second round of its “Can It With Calvary” food drive next week.

If you live on the south side of Verona, Calvary parishioners will be putting a doorknob hanger on your door with details sometime between November 5 and 9. You can drop off food in Calvary’s collection boxes at the front of the church at 23 South Prospect Street and at the Hill Street entrance beginning November 8.  If you would like to have your donations picked up on November 13, e-mail the church at [email protected] or call (973) 239-0577. Include your address, phone number and a specific time for the pick up.

Calvary ran the first round of its drive in August and collected nearly 2,000 pounds of food, which was distributed to Montclair Human Needs Food Pantry, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, the Goodwill Mission in Newark and several local families.
