A few weeks back we called for entries for our first Halloween House contest. We got entries from all over Verona, ranging from subtle to downright scary. Fred Goode took photos of all the houses, day and night.

Now it’s your turn. Take a look at the slideshow below and then vote for your favorite. The winner will be announced on Halloween and get a dozen delicious cupcakes courtesy of Mardi Gras Fine Foods.

And if you are now kicking yourself for not entering the Halloween House contest, you can be the first to enter MyVeronaNJ’s Holiday House contest. Click on this link to send us an e-mail saying where your house is located, and when all the lights will be lit. We’ll do the rest.

UPDATE: Voting is now closed.

  1. 35 Woodland Ave. has a cool water fountian and a huge spider off to the side. By far the best house… a must go see!

  2. All the houses are decorated nicely, but the house at 35 Brentwood Drive, ” just plain creeps me out”!
    By far the best.
