On Thursday, October 21, you and your kids can hike the paths of the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland by moonlight. You’ll learn about night-time creatures and their feeding frenzy ahead of winter. The hike starts at 6 p.m. and afterwards you can enjoy a campfire and roasting marshmallows. Bring flashlights. Cost is $6 per child and $8 per adult and advance registration is required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
