The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee is holding its annual fall Family Night on Thursday, October 21. Local restaurants and eateries will once again be offering discounts for Verona families who don’t want to cook at home. Coupons will be available on VMAC’s Web site. They will also be available at the Verona Community Center and will be distributed through the schools.
Now in its eighth year, Family Night highlights the importance of the parental engagement that is fostered by frequent family dinners in keeping kids substance free. With support from the Township of Verona and Board of Education, the calendar has been cleared of meetings, practices and homework so families will not be interrupted in Family Night activities.
