The Essex County Environmental Center is bringing back its Outdoor Adventure Club this Wednesday, October 13. It’s a one-hour program for children ages 7 to 11 directed by the center’s staff naturalist. The whole class is conducted outdoors and activities may include building forts, collecting firewood, skipping rocks, telling stories, digging for critters, spotting wildlife, playing tag and more. The cost is $6 per child per session and advance registration and payment are required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
