What’s Open, Closed On Columbus Day

Verona’s public schools are open and in regular session on Monday, October 11, but children at Our Lady of the Lake School have Columbus Day off.

Town government offices are closed, and if you have any business with Essex County, that will have to wait a day too. The post office is also closed and there is no mail delivery. Some banks are open, but most are not. NJ Transit is running a holiday schedule; DeCamp is running a regular one.
