The Verona Board of Education doesn’t yet have a written plan for the role that citizens will play in reviewing its budget, but it is soliciting resumes.
Board member Joseph Bellino said at last night’s meeting that residents interesting in participating in the budget review group should submit a note of intent to Superintendent Charles Sampson or Board President John Quattrocchi that tells a bit about your background and your interest in joining the group. Bellino said the board will work on formalizing the responsibilities of the review committee at its next two meetings.
