Alumni Association Sets Officers, Meeting Dates

The Verona High School Alumni Association has announced its executive board officers for 2010-2011. The are Sue Smith Betcher, president; Amy Zavidil, vice president; Debbie Nostrant Walsh, treasurer; Mary Cooksey Wilkes, secretary; and Gail McMickle Sferrazza, historian/publicity.

The VHSAA is dedicated to supporting alumni, VHS and its students and provide fellowship between and among alumni through leadership, guidance, time and talent. It welcomes all alumni to get involved in its activities, including VHS Career Day, the Hall Of Fame dinner, socials, scholarship committees and other alumni events. The VHSAA meets at the Verona Community Center at 7:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month and all meetings are open to the public. Upcoming meeting dates are: October 5, November 3, and December 1, 2010; and January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, and June 1, 2011.
