You hopefully got a note in your child’s backpack about the bowling league programs that Eagle Rock Lanes is running in conjunction with the Verona Recreation Department. But there’s a lot more going on at the West Orange lanes. Eagle Rock has a new coaching staff that includes several certified bowling coaches and they are running bowling clinics programs on Saturdays that offer structured coaching.

The youth bowling program, which began this week, is open to kids ages 4 and up, and costs $8 per child per week. It runs on Mondays from 4 to 5 p.m. On Sundays from 6 to 7 p.m., there’s a adult-child league that lets one adult bowl with one child for just $16 for two games with bumpers up or $20 for 3 games bumpers down. That league starts this Sunday, September 26.

For more information on any of the program, contact Terri Schmertz or Joe Boyle at 973-731-6363.
