Essex County will be hosting a free event to provide health screenings, information, entertainment and more for senior citizens on Tuesday, September 21. It will be held at the Codey Arena in West Orange, which some still call South Mountain Arena, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Several Essex County agencies, including the Division of Senior Services, will have representatives on site to talk about available programs for seniors. Area hospitals, senior day care facilities, local nursing homes and other social service providers will also be on hand.
