The Israel Crane House

Jane Eliasof, a Verona resident who works with the Montclair Historical Society’s Nathaniel and Israel Crane houses, has let us know that there will be a meeting to introduce potential volunteers to opportunities at local history museum. The seminar will be this Sunday, September 19, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Montclair Historical Society at at 108 Orange Road.

There will be an overview of the volunteer opportunities at MHS, which include leading tours through its historic sites, cooking over an open hearth, helping in the Museum Store, volunteering in the office, helping with fund raising activities, and more.
