Mr. Albert J. Pier , 78, died on Sunday September 12, 2010 at his home in Verona.
The funeral will be at St. Ann Melkite Catholic Church, 802 Rifle Camp Road, Woodland Park (West Paterson), on Thursday September 16 at 10 a.m. Visiting at the church on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
Born in Paterson, Mr. Pier lived in Little Falls for 34 years prior to moving to Verona earlier this year. He was a die setter for Continental Can Company in Paterson for 28 years, retiring in 1986.
Mr. Pier is the husband of the late Emily A. Pier, the father of Deborah A. Pier and Albert W. Pier, the grandfather of Jessica Pier, Anthony Pier, Ryan Pier, Richard Congero, Michael Congero and Gregory Harrison. He is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial envelopes will be available during visiting.
