The Saint Baldrick’s Foundation is a national organization that raises funds to help children with cancer, and it raises those funds by getting participants to make their heads as bald as a child with cancer. On Saturday, September 18 at 3 p.m. Verona resident Eamonn Ryan will be leading the Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh Club in a buzz-off in West Orange. Thirty-eight people have registered so far to have their heads saved, pledging to raise more than $21,000. But the group’s goal is $100,000, so if you want to be a “buzzee” or a donor, check the group’s event page here.
