Lots of Verona High School football games will be played under the lights this season and the first one certainly held up to the glare. Verona topped Newark’s Central High School, 34-6 in a strong outing for the Hillbillies’ new quarterback Matt Rosenfeld. Cooper Neale had two touchdowns in the first half, while Greg Schiffenhaus and Bob Kaslander took over scoring in the second. We’re just going to let Fred Goode‘s photos of the game tell the rest of the story.
