Back To School–For Some

Share post:

Verona’s public schools are back in session for the 2010-2011 school year today, as is Our Lady of the Lake.

Cedar Grove goes back today, but the Caldwell and West Caldwell schools don’t start until tomorrow. The Caldwell schools, like ours, will be closed on Thursday for Rosh Hashanah, but back in session on Friday. Cedar Grove isn’t closing for the holiday at all. West Orange goes back today, but will be closed on both Thursday and Friday.

Montclair has apparently decided to skip all this confusion and not re-open its schools until Monday, September 13.

You can stay on top of everything related to Verona’s school schedule this fall by following the MyVeronaNJ calendar. Key dates for the school schedule appear in bright green and every sport has its own color. And if you’ve got an event that isn’t yet listed, please let us know.
