So we’re apparently going to be getting a whole summer’s worth of rain in four days. Yesterday’s deluge will continue today–and tomorrow, and Wednesday. The weekend is expected to be dry, but there’s a large tropical storm in the Atlantic between South America and Africa that is headed toward North America. And if you have a rain barrel or backyard pond and are worried about the possibility of mosquito nests forming in all this rain, we’ll pass along a tip we got from an Essex County Parks Department employee this weekend: goldfish. They love to eat mosquito larvae. No kidding.
