After the dry summer we’ve had, it feels as if most of Verona will need to attend this class at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland. “Preparing for Next Year’s Green Lawn” will be held on Monday, August 23 at 7 p.m. and led by the Rutgers Master Gardeners. Participants will receive the latest information on how to take advantage of fall and prepare their lawn for the long winter. The cost is $8 per adult and advance registration is required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
