Cheering The World Cup In Verona

No, there’s nobody from Verona on Team USA. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be some cheering here when the U.S. team takes on Ghana this afternoon in the World Cup. We’re hearing that the big screens at O’Neil’s Restaurant & Pub will be tuned to the big match, as will those at Frank Anthony’s. And, if you’re headed into New York City, Verona-based chef Floyd Cardoz has rigged up some TVs on the outdoor patio at Tabla. The game starts at 2:30 p.m.
