Valerie Fund 5K In Verona Park Today

At 8:30 a.m. this morning the Valerie Fund, a group which provides comprehensive health care for children with cancer and blood disorders, will be holding a 5K race in Verona Park. Park Avenue from the park entrance to Manor Road will be closed to vehicular traffic from 7:30 to 9 a.m., and there will be no parking on Park Avenue or Manor Road.

There will also be a walk that begins at 10 a.m. The morning’s events are sponsored by JAG Physical Therapy and WCBS-TV. They will raise funds for almost 5,000 children who will be treated at the seven Valerie Fund Children’s Centers in New Jersey and New York.
