The Verona Health Department, in cooperation with the Phillips Eye Institute, is sponsoring a free vision screening on Wednesday, June 30.  Anyone who has not had an eye exam within the past year is eligible for the screening, which includes visual acuity and glaucoma testing.

Though the screening isn’t until the end of the month, if you want to have your eyes checked, you need to make an appointment now by calling the Health Department at 973-857-4800. The screening will be held at the Health Department, which is located in the Verona Community Center at 880 Bloomfield Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
