Verona resident Bonnie Jerbasi has launched a business to bring legal advice home–literally.

Jerbasi, who has practiced law since 1986 and is a member of the bar in New Jersey, created House Call Attorneys to meet with clients at home, at work or at some other location, such as an assisted living facility or nursing home. Her partner in the new venture is Mark Weissman, an attorney since 1985 who is a member of the bar in New York and New Jersey. The pair see their business as a return to a simpler, more personal way of life, and a more convenient way for clients to get legal services.

Jerbasi and Weissman are offering a wide range of legal help including real estate transactions, family law matters, wills, living wills, immigration, loan modifications, guardianship proceedings, municipal court matters and litigation, to individuals and businesses. But the pair aren’t abandoning all the trappings of a traditional legal practice: If you like, you can meet them at their office at 26 Park Street in Montclair.
