It’s not too late to help your child learn to garden this summer.

The Green Thumb Club, an ongoing program at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland, aims to teach children ages 7 to 12 gardening methods that are best for plants and the planet. Each class costs $8 per child including materials, and you don’t have to attend every class.

The next two sessions are Wednesdays June 9 and 23, at 3:45 p.m. To register, call 973-228-8776.
