Obituaries: Josefina N. Estrada

Mrs. Josefina (nee Navarro) Estrada, 78, died on Friday, May 14, 2010 at her home in Verona.

A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Monday, May 17, at 11 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave., Verona, on Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m.

Born in Gapan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, Mrs. Estrada graduated from Santo Tomas University in Manila with a BS in Pharmacy and moved to Verona in 1972. She worked in the Bookkeeping Department of PSEG in Newark for 23 years, retiring in 1999.

Mrs. Estrada is the wife of Caesar Estrada, the mother of Alexander Estrada, Dr. Napoleon Estrada, Louis Estrada and Dr. Wilhelmina Estrada. She is also survived by Tammy Perrelli, Maria Alberto, Dr. Drew Tomenchok, 9 grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Endowment Trust Fund of Our Lady of the Lake Church would be appreciated.
