Electronics Recycling Tomorrow

Bring your old computer equipment, stereos and cell phones to Essex County’s Computer and Electronics Recycling Day On Saturday, May 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Essex County Fleet Maintenance Garage in Cedar Grove.

Other items that will be accepted and should be recycled to keep lead and other hazardous materials out of the waste stream include: monitors, printers, fax machines, scanners, telecom equipment, speakers, keyboards, mainframes, VCRs, DVD players, toasters and irons. For more information call 973-857-2350 or check the county’s Web site. Bring ID with address to demonstrate county residency.
