The sign almost says it all: Cinema 23 in Cedar Grove, the closest movie theater to movie theaterless Verona, screened its last movie on Sunday. Word is it was a dispute over rent between the building’s owner and tenant Clearview Cinemas. All the employees were transferred to other Clearview locations. No news yet on what will happen to the site.
