Grab your bikes and helmets and head for the Hilltop Reservation, the newest park in Essex County, on Saturday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Enjoy a peaceful, relaxing 1.5 mile-route on paved roads without cars. Bring the kids; tricycles and bikes with training wheels are fine. Walkers are welcome too. Families with young children should be able to complete the ride in 1 hour at a leisurely pace. Arrive anytime from 10:45 to 12 to start, in order to finish by 1 p.m.

Enter via Courter Road off Mountain Avenue in North Caldwell and park in the lot behind the sports field. The marked route starts directly across from the lot. A map of the Hilltop reservation is here. Sponsored by the Hilltop Conservancy.
