T-shirts are being sold at the high school in anticipation of Wednesday's baseball showdown.

It’s peanuts and Cracker Jacks time this Wednesday night at Yogi Berra Stadium at Montclair State University as the VHS baseball team takes on archrival Cedar Grove at 7 pm. Last week’s matchup between the two was an exciting 2-0 victory for Verona and Cedar Grove will be looking for revenge. All kids 14 and under dressed in a baseball uniform get in free. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students and children; refreshments will be offered by Eight Hills Catering. All proceeds go to support the Verona and Cedar Grove teams. Students can aid the Hillbilly cause by purchasing T-shirts at the high school this week designed by VHS computer graphics student Joe Sadonis for $10 each.
