The cast consists of over 60 members of the church’s two youth choirs, grades 6 through 12.  The young people have been rehearsing since September, assisted by coaches, costume designers, lighting designers, prop masters, sound technicians, musicians, and many more.

The performances in Caldwell follow a weeklong tour to Pennsylvania, Indiana and Illinois, during which the young people presented the musical in several churches in Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and Chicago. Tours in previous years have taken the group to cities such as Montréal, Seattle, Miami, Phoenix, San Francisco and London, with shows including Godspell, Children of Eden, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
