Turtle Back Zoo will be marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on Sunday, April 24 by joining the Association of Zoos and Aquariums‘ Party for the Planet™ celebration.

More than 130 of the top zoos and aquariums across North America will all be hosting Earth Day-themed events on Sunday, which the AZA says is the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America.

Turtle Back is promising special activities throughout the day that will be included with the regular price zoo admission. The zoo, which is located at 560 Northfield Avenue in West Orange, will be open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday and regular admission is $6 for children and senior citizens, $9 for adults and free for children under 2 years.
