A Woodland Walk For Kids

Share post:

Let your kindergarten-age children get down and dirty with nature in two outdoor classes at the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland.

On Monday, April 12 and again on April 26, the center will be hosting “Outside Nature Discoveries”, a program for children ages 5 to 6. The kids will go into the wooded wetland by the Environmental Center with magnifiers, trowels, containers and more to observe living things there and make a record in a journal. You and your child will need to dress for the weather because the classes are conducted entirely outside.

The cost is $6 per child per session, and advance registration and payment is required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
