Kids Gardening Class

The Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland has scheduled two classes to teach kids how to grow great food.

Billed as the “Green Thumb Club: Gardening for Health and Nutrition”, the class will teach children ages 7 to 12 how to garden for optimal plant growth, production and food quality, as well as gardening methods that keep the soil and land healthy. It will be held on Wednesdays, April 7 and 21 at 3:45. The class is $8 per child per session and advance registration and payment is required. For information, call 973-228-8776.
