Join The Town-Wide Garage Sale

Now is the time to clean out your clutter: Verona High School’s sophomore class is organizing a town-wide garage sale for Saturday, April 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For a $25 fee, the students will place your name and address on a map of sale locations and list any “hot-ticket” items you’d like to highlight. They do the advertising and direct customers to your home; you run your sale and keep all the profits. Proceeds from the registration fees will offset the price of the prom and senior banquet. For more information, e-mail Elaine DeVita at VHS.

  1. for a FEE? that makes no sense….how hard it to make a list of addresses into a PDF & post it somewhere? (not very, I do it myself) you’d think they want to make it as easy as possible for people to get the list…

  2. Whooops. Should have written my comment more clearly. The fee is to list a garage sale on the town-wide garage sale map, much like you’d pay to post a classified ad. There is no charge to get the map.

  3. whew! you had we worried there!

yes, that makes much more sense…would love to see it really accessible though….
